The Ait Bouguemez Valley, often called the “Happy Valley,” is a peaceful and beautiful place in the heart of the High Atlas Mountains. It sits within a limestone massif and stretches over 30 kilometers, with many small and charming Berber villages built along the hills and rocky slopes. The people living here still follow traditional Berber ways of life. In the north, families work as farmers, growing crops on terraced fields. In the south, semi-nomadic shepherds move with their animals to find fresh grazing areas.

This valley is very fertile and is especially known for its apple orchards, along with other fruits and vegetables. With its gentle walking paths, fresh air, and friendly locals, Ait Bouguemez is a great place for an easy and relaxing hike. Visitors can enjoy the quiet nature, explore village life, and learn about Berber culture.
