Dades Valley And Merzouga Camel Trek Itinerary

Day 01 : Marrakech | Ouarzazate | Dades gorges

Depart early in the morning from Marrakech, crossing the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters on your way to Ouarzazate. Upon arrival, visit the famous cinema studios where numerous international films have been shot. Enjoy a lunch break before continuing the journey.
Travel through the lush Skoura Palm Grove and the Valley of Roses in Kelaat M’Gouna, heading toward the dramatic Dades Gorges. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel or traditional guesthouse nestled within the gorges.

Day 02 : Dades gorges | Tinghir | Erfoud | Dunes of Merzouga

After breakfast, depart from Dades Gorges and head toward Tinghir. Explore the stunning Todra Valley and its dramatic limestone cliffs before continuing to Erfoud, where you’ll stop for lunch.
In the afternoon, drive to Merzouga via the historic town of Rissani. Upon arrival in Merzouga, begin a memorable 1.5 to 2-hour camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the sand dunes before arriving at your desert bivouac. Dinner and overnight stay in traditional Berber tents beneath the stars.

Day 03 : Merzouga dunes | N’Kob | Ouarzazate | Marrakech

Wake early to enjoy a magical sunrise over the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Afterward, ride camels back to the hotel, where you’ll have breakfast and a refreshing hot shower.
Then, depart for Ouarzazate via the scenic route through N’Kob and Agdez, passing beautiful desert landscapes and Berber villages. Stop for lunch in Ouarzazate before continuing your return journey to Marrakech via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
